april morning to black hawk down

U.S. battle tactics have changed throughout history. From the revolutionary war to the deserts of Afghanistan. From marksmanship training to physical training. Soldiers have been advancing in every single way. By reading the two books, "April morning," and "black hawk down," its easy to pick out the similarities.
both books take place during war. One in the revolutionary war, one in Somalia. April morning takes place in the Lexington concord, wile black hawk down takes place in the gulf war. The operation "restore hope" was to feed and protect a city's rights. When the U.S. pulled out war broke loose, so the army was sent in to capture the evil person. The Lexington concord was a bunch of men without training fighting for their rights.
A character named Adam joins the militia to fight off the upcoming British forces. In black hawk down a delta squad is in a operation and immediately after touchdown the squad is under fire. The Lexington Concorde started with a shot from the British to the Americans. In both books the characters find themselves under fire and running away. When under pressure, the human is pushed to the lowest point of his/her training. In both books, the characters have to overcome this and defeat the enemy to save their lives.
the books are very different because of the timeline. In the revolutionary war the military was a militia, a none properly trained army. In black hawk down they had tactics, support, and much more. Warfare has changed because technology has been advancing rapidly. From muzzle loaders to automatics, cannons to missiles technology has been getting smarter every year.
Booth books are great battle stories and set a picture perfect image of what it was like at that timeline. If you like history on the April morning would be a great book, if you more like modern stories black hawk down might be the best option out there. Both are great stories and similar because they take place in historical battles.

in the book april morning adum and his brother levi have a bad relationship. levi is alwayse anoying and tells on adum and always gets him in troble. adum is a bit of a jerk to levi.

one incident where levi got adum in troble he actully felt bad for him onece. to make it up to him he thought it would be a good idiea to clean his gun for him. he thought wrong, insted adum is mad that levi is touching his gun. adum thinks that he doesn't know the fist thing about guns. insted of this getting resolved it brings more problums when levi says, "i know how to point and shoot it at a red coat."

Another year without a home was about to pass. Sara hadn’t had a home since 3 years, her forth year mark would start 3 weeks from thanksgiving which was today. Thankfully Sara had a million dolor diamond which was her only chance of being able to live again, she has been searching for a market and no one could afford the diamond. She tried pawn shops, jurally stores almost anywhere, but no one had the money. She has heard of popular diamond stores but those where far up north. After 3 years she still hadn’t found a ride up there, she had asked family but they didn’t have much money ether.
Thanksgiving was at her mother’s house like normal. When she arrived she looked like a wreck. “Can I barrow your car?” Sara asked her mother.
“What for? Its thanksgiving, sit down, relax and eat some turkey.” Her mother said
“Mom you know I don’t like turkey. But I need money and I understand that you can’t give me some. But I have I diamond that’s worth a lot of money and.”
“How much?” her mother interrupted
“One million dollars.” Her mother was shocked that she possessed such a thing. “But as I was saying I was searching for 2 years since I found it and I need to sell it, but no one can afford it, but I know a place and it’s really far away.” Sara said
“When did you find it?” Sara’s mother asked.
“That’s not important. What’s important is the money it’s worth, I need it, I want to live in a home again. So can a barrow it or not?”
“You know what, I’ll come with. Well have a road trip!” her mother said.
It was a long drive to the store, they passed many interesting things. When they got to the pawn shop they got more than they asked for. Sara had bought a home for herself, shared with her family and donated. Sara had gotten a successful job and married.

drama

At the end of the day Sheila was walking out of school and saw Bradley and Alex kissing. Completely thrilled, Sheila pulled out her phone to share the news. This was huge because Alex was already Dating Ryan. It wasn't long before it went on Face book. When Sheila logged on to her blog it was all over the wall. She noticed that brad gave her hate mail. It was then when she realized she really messed up their lives, all 3 of them. Next day at school none 1 of the 3 people was there and that was Ryan. He told me thanks Sheila thanks because he didn't want to date anyone if there where cheating on them. That was all anyone wanted to talk about it. Sheila felt some justice, but mostly guilt. It was that day she really felt drama sucked.

point of view

In thee book april morning, the main character veiews his brother as a anoying turd. but how does his brother levi think of the main character adum. levi has been a brate to adum, like telling on him and getting him in troble. but one time he tries to make it up to him by cleaning adums rifle. when adum finds out he get mad. levi just wanted to help, he didn't want to be the person adum thinks levi is. he just wanted to be a brother.

Johnny

Johnny lost his innocence when he killed bob. When he killed bob he couldn't be the same as he always was. He had to run away or else he too would be killed. Johnny use to be the kind of guy who would be loyal to his friends, but when a rival group almost kills the main character pony boy by drowning him, Johnny killed him in self defense.

Johnny had a hard life at home, so he would always be around his gang. Johnny really had no rules because his parents just didn't care. Even though Johnny's parents didn't care that hurt Johnny, It made him soft witch wasn't good because his group of "greasers" couldn't be soft, the two groups beat each other constantly.

The night pony boy was about to die and Johnny killed bob to save him they both panicked. Johnny and pony boy took a train further towards the west to hide from the police. They found an abundant church and decided to stay there. Both cut their hair and bleached it. While they where getting settled a group member named Dally showed up and took them to dairy queen, but when they got back the place was on fire. While the place was burning they noticed there was a school there, the school there was on a picnic, but a few kids where in burning buildings. Like heroes, Johnny and pony boy went in to get them out, as Johnny was on his way out, part of the building collapsed breaking Johnny's back. This caused johnnys death, but after he thought about it he didn't mind going.

Johnny learned that saving those kids life was worth more than his life because they had more to live for. Before he died, his last words where "stay gold pony boy."

The outsiders

the outsiders title to me means outcast. being an outsider is like being an outcast. in the book there are greasers and socs, gresers are the ones who are only have eachother and socs have the school. outcasts are just like greasers.

nothing gold can stay

the meaning of it is when something is perfict it wont stay that way. everyone and everything has their trobles and when one is solved another will start.gitting jumped by socs is normal for greasers, when Johnny kills bob he has to run and hide form the police or he will die too. greacers agenced socs is an even chance but agenced the cops they would lose their lives.

outsiders conflict

johnny kills a soc named bob and is forced to leave town. jhonny killed the soc because they where drowning poney boy, and a defencive act he stabbed and killed him. jhonny and poney boy went out of town because the polece would find them, and to hike there identity they bleached there hair and cut it.

Patriot essay

I will be proud of my country till the day I die. I am proud of the men and woman who have died for our freedom, I am proud of our way of life, and I am proud of men and woman fighting for our freedom. But what I am not proud of is our choices.

I don't think we should be in Iraq because we already got payback for 9/11. and you can never end terrorism, you can only suppress it, and part of our mission over there is to spread democracy, witch I think is wrong because why should we change there way of life. And we should only get involved in wars that threaten our freedom. I do believe that when we are attacked it is our duty to go after them.

I am not proud of the politicians going after each other like animals. I am also questioning why taxes are being raised, that’s why our economy is bad. All the companies are being taxed so much that they can't afford to hire workers.

Every year we are giving about $3 million worth of aid when our country is in the toilet. Witch is another problem, Why are we putting other countries in front of us? And now we are in Africa to help fight rebels. Why? Is it necessary to help out every country in the world? we are the super power that a lot of countries look up to, but at this period we can't afford to keep this up or we will not have any money and become overpowerd.

war

War has bright explosions. The mighty roar of the enemy guns. Man maid thunder as the jets fly over the sky. Screams of pain as our comrades fall. Hurtling bodies that lay on the ground. The clanking of the solders running. Thump, thump, thump as the mortars fire. Raining steal as the bombs explode. Rockets red glair as they soar through the sky. No were to run, no were to hide, you got to kill to stay alive. Will we live to fight another day. You since that someone's watching you, you look behind and no ones there.

"I just cant believe they finished it just a month ago"
Just about 500 yd away from the school when the bank to right of us exploded. Taliban members came storming out of the bank, they where pointing the gun at our car and firing at us. My mom accelerated and a bullet hit her. She was dead
"out of the car! get out!"
They hid me and put a vest on me, I didn’t know what to do. I just followed orders. At wasn't long before an American helicopter came. As it came in I noticed that one of the Taliban was holding a button.
"run towards them."
"What."
He smacked me with the but of his rifle, "run towards them."
I ran fast as I could, when I looked back I saw him push the button, nothing happened. The Americans started firing ant the Taliban, the Taliban fired back. A bullet hit me in the leg, as I fell down the bomb exploded.

Found

In the book found a group 2 kids are find out that they are orphans and are involved in a secrete. One night at an airport a mysteries plane landed and no one knew what it was. When one of the workers went to check it out, it was filled with babies and no pilots.
Everything was going good, life was perfect. One day the group of kids where hanging out in with character named Chip at his house. And chip finds a book called "how to raise an adopted kid." Chip was shocked and didn't know what to do. This was the climax of the story
The group goes to a camp for orphans where most of the kids where from the plane. Eventually they go inside a cave and get trapped. Sometime they go back in time. Though nothing was solved at the end of the story.

jimmy dulittle.

the story of how jimmy dulittle got the medal of honer is very very insporationol. jimmy was awarded the medal of honer for a mission that he thought he faild. him and 16 men went to bomb the japoniese after pearl harbor.
any story of a solder earning the medal of honer is shocking. the words jimmy said to his other pilots where inspiering. jimmy said "look to the left and take a good look, chances are one of you will not return, step forword if you ar still brave enuff." all 80 men step foward. invading a countrie is always scary.
being a solder takes great corrage. steping in the front lines, risking you life for your countries freedom. jimmy was never afraid. wile jimmy was prepairing to be a pilot two deminstrators crashed in mid air, most people would back out after withnissing that, but when the instructor said, "do you still want to fly." jimmy said "yes sir."
all of amarica was proud of jimmy. jimmy felt that he didn't diserve it because hi felt that it was a mission faild. the fallen men who where captured jimmy tried to save by hiering the chinese. it would be a true honer to fight with jimmy.

mamorial day weekend

i had a great weekend. the first day i went down town with my brother his friend and my cousin. we went to big guys magic shop and my brother's friend bought this really loud plow horn with know batories. it hurts your ears. so as we where walking back we went under a bridge and he did the horn and it echoed. the seconed day we tried to go downtown but it rained and so me and my brothe went to oure house with oure cousin, then to his house and his brother got a gillie sute. after we saw that we went to oure hous to have an airsoft war. the therd day i don't think we did anything. but the last day was a blast. we went to my friend's house to have an airsoft war, insted we really didn't have one, befor my other friend came we where waiting, and so we went on his go cart and had a water war with the nabors, then when the other friend came we took turns driveing the go-cart and my brother ran over a tree. when we where finaly going to have the airsoft war the nabors just delaid us because he just had to get the go cart, and lost the magasine for my other friends hand gun.

paint balling.

paint balling to me is one of the best sports. paint balling really gets adrenillin pumping as you advance into enemy fire. every time i go paint balling i hardly loose. its always the team i'm on advancing and the other team staying in the starting point. one time i got so far up i almost maid my team shoot at me. ive been paint balling 3 times, one with the waukeeshaw composit squadron in cap, the other for birthday, and the last for fun. when i went just for fun i thougt that it wouldn't be fun because we had to play with a hole buch of randon peopl, but i loved it!

the music i hate.

the music i hat is rap, and pop. i can not stant hearing it, it is so anoying. the song i hate most is firework. rap i can tolorate but pop is a different story. i hat all the music that we dance to in school dances. its so horrable. to be honest i don't know why everyone started listening to it. i remember when they maid all these rock bands, gitar hero's, not its dj hero. i have know idea what happoned. and when we run inside the gym, it actully gets me mad hearing it.

airsoft revolver.

sometime when i mow the lawn my dad will get me an airsoft revelver. i thought that would be the coolest thing and when i finaly looked it up it was even cooler. it opens like a real revolver and it has fake shells where you put the bb in the back, and i'm gessing that the hammer will hit it and it goes. the gun has about 260 ft per sec. i just though that when my cousins come over to have an airsoft war that would be the coolest thing to use it.

CAP promotion.

in the united stats air force auxillery, Civle Air Patrol, i am going to be promoted to a cated airmen first class, or a sinor airmen, i cant remember. i was an airmen for the longest time and i never had the oportunity to pass the test. when i finaly did i only got for wrong. then i had to do the drill test. i compleatly faild at stopping, when the flight sgt say, "flight halt" we are sapose to take one step then stop. i stoped out of formation. but i still passed, i'm so happy that i'm finaly not an airmen.

My fat cat 2

yesterday i went to take my cat to the vet. when i was playing a game i didn't want to go at the time. so when my mom was bagging me to go she turned down the volume and all i herd was cynder moon, it was so cute i had too. so i picked her up and got in the car, all the way there she was moning and moning. when we got in the office ( don't exactly know what to call it ) i opened the cage and she wouldn't come out. when the docter came he took apart the cage and all i saw was her head pop up. that day she was scared of the doctor though. every time she goes there its the same deal with the cage but when she got out she feeled so welcome, i noticed when the doctor was trying to examon her she looked like she trying to get away. that day i found out that she had some tissue like a tumer that will not effect her, and she is 12 lb. when we got home, the husky amber was waiting to eat her. i had to hold her back untill she choked herself. the lab baily doseint want to eat her but amber does. she is always trying to get at her by garding the stairs. my mom yells at her a lot.

My Fat Cat.

I have a fat cat named cynder. cynder is really wide, and her fat sags down like an emty sack, we call them sattle bags. Cynder is a black cat, really cute but she never comes out because my dog bothers her. every day around 7 she goes to watch tv on my dads lap, and when she looks at me she look like she hates me.
Cynder is really fast. when my dog scares her she runs to a gate - we have the gate so the dogs don't brake things wile where gone - and she jumps, runs on the wall and lands. she may be fat be she is fast! one time when i was littler we built a barracade out of bouncy balls over the stairs to prevent her frome going up- the barracade was about 3 ft and the star was about 6in- and when we got her scared she ran and jumped it, pluse it was uphill.
i think my cat migh understand us, or maby all cats. we figured this might be the problum but she pee's on oure beeds and we think she does that because she gets mad at us when we pick on her. befor i was born my mom and dad had a cat who's hair was snarreld, so they got it cut, and the doctor said "do not make fun of that cat." and we think thats why. the other night me my mom and brother where sitting down and oure cat came, eventully my mom was talking her and she mention the litter box and how it smelled, and she look really ticked off, she looked so made.

life.

to me life kind of sucks. evey situwation is me agenced the world. every time, everyone is agenced me and aparently everyone hates me becuse i complane. i get picked on pritty often by ___ in my L.A. class. i'm always discludid, and thats pritty anoying. i have only 4 friends and only are around 2 of them and they only talk to eachother.
today i hate what everyone likes. everyone likes watching footbal, i hate watching it. everyone thinks there cool obsessing over chilish things like elmo and smerfs. this stuff is going way way to far. and people make fun of me becuase i like guns. so what, guns pretect oure rights.
i really hate eli too, and hate is a strong word. ___ is just a plane butt. he picks on me, and in 5th grade he would really pick on me, and i wont let that go, he ruend my life. he even picked on my friend till he cryed. he thinks hes all that too. i don't see why anyone in the world likes him. why in the world would anyone be friends with someone with scuch an attatude.

Shooting.

I've probably posted this befor but i half to say that shooting is by far the best experiance i have done. i love to feel kick and smell the gun powder. i'm not really good at hitting the target, but i don't miss. i often don't hit the bull's eye, the bullet goes up, and when i aim more down it still ends up hitting up.
my favorite gun to shoot is a hand gun. hand guns are just more fun to shoot. riffles look nice and i'de rather have a riffle, so i'de say there pritty even. my favorite typ of gun is a .22 cal, therefor it has know kick, to me thats a problum because the joy in a gun is sound kick and looks.
Lots of people are afraid of guns, because they don't think of it this way, guns save lifes. guns do not kill, its the user that killes, and the gun who helps him protect and surve his country from the ones that are trying to destroy it. or a cyco who has no reson to kill. and if people ban guns, then they will half to ban knifes, then baseball bats, etc. everything these days could be used as a wepon and will be used as one.

Teacher.

My favorite teacher int this scool is Mr.Cat. he's like my grandma and mom, when i go to my grandmas house i get A LOT more freedom. he lets us work with partners and we get to soshalize (as long as we work although most don't). thanks to him i mad another friend i can trust 100%. if only every other teacher let us learn with oure frineds i think that i would do a lot better in school. if only.

a bad day at school.

When I had lunch I dropped my fork and some other kid sucked on my straw. My necklace was gold and silver, I liked it a lot. In my history class some kid popped a balloon with a bobby pin and it kind of scared me. After that we had to build a puzzle of Japan, but I was missing the last piece. My day went bad and the worst part was when a kid had a tooth pick and flicked the food at me, it was really gross. When I went home I saw a necliss of a cross and prayed for a better day. I was a true believer, I never doubted it.
It home I had a better day, I got something in the mail, it was post card from my cousin, he went to parries. It said "hey josh I know I haven't seen you in a wile but I am missing you, what's new in America?" I didn't feel like replying but I was going to do it.

HMLA-367

when i grow up i want to join the HMLA-367 for the USMC. i want to join this squadron because they fly the AH-1z. the HMLA-367 was the first marine squad to fly the AH-1g, one of the first models of the AH-1. I don't know much about them, but all i know is that they fly the ah-1z and they use to be a utility helicopter squad, when they where flying UH-1's they where called HML-367, or something. HMLA stands for marine light attack helicopter squad but i don't know how. one of the reasons why i want to fly one is because of there patch, i never new the difference so i decided to juge by there emblum. then lator i found out that they fly the AH-1z, and now for sure i'm going in there.

when i see the picture of the helicopter it makes me want to fly it. when i grow up i want to fly that helicopter for the HMLA-367 scare face marine light attack helicopter squatdron. i know about every differentce frome the z model and the w model. the differences are propellers, engines, longer wings, and on the nose it has a different targeting system. about every day i look up the helicopter because i want to fly and know everything about it. the US armies AH-64 use to be the most advanced helicopter. now the AH-1z has a higher payloud, better targeting system, longbow radar, faster speed, the onlything that the AH-64 is better is it has a 30ml cannon and the AH-1z has a 20ml, thats because it's a close air saport helicoper, unlike the AH-64 witch is a tank buster, bouth have capabilities of close air sapourt and tank elimanation. my favorite model is the w model, however it will be retired meaning not in use by 2020, if i join when i'm 18, the year will be 2016, and it takes 2 years of trianing pluse bootcamp.

100 doves

If you had to hunt 100 doves, how would you do it? In the book “The Hundredth Dove” by Jane Yolen, is about a man named Hugh who was a fowler was dedicated and loyal to his king. Hugh was assigned to catch 100 doves for his kings wedding. The story further on is very good.
On the other hand this book was well written and fun to read because it was a good fantasy story and easy to understand. The book was always on topic instead of dosing off. And a good fantasy story is always fun to read.
Furthermore the characters where great too. The characters where Hugh, the king, a white dove, and the kings bride. Hugh who was a fowler lived in the forest and cached birds for the king. The king didn’t have a big part, or the bride. And the white dove died.

Finally a review of how the story went. Hugh was on a mission to bring 100 doves for his kings wedding. Every day he would bring 20 back. On the night before the wedding day he was short. The first day he saw a white majestic bird and was determined to catch it. As soon as he did it started talking to Hugh, asking to be free. It gave him offers; even one to marry the king’s bride, which Hugh never saw anyone more pretty. Loyal Hugh did not except and killed the bird. The next day there wasn’t a wedding.

favorite song

Aces high by iron maiden is by far my favorite song. i love the song spacificly because it has the best gitar solo EVER!!! my favorite music is speed metal and that is why i listen to this band. in my opinion they only have about 2 bad songs, the rest out of the 120+ i love. after aces high i would half to say may favorite song is "star blind", then "mother of mercy", then "dance of death", then the "wicker man, then "out of the silent planet", then "the troper", then "fear of the dark," i love all there songs!

How the snake got poison by Zora Hurston

How do you believe religion? In the short story "how the snake got poison" by Zora Neal Hurston, the author expresses religion by telling how he might believe how the snake got poison. Or could have just been to entertain. The story was written weird like the is de. Despite that the book was pretty good.

It's a nice short story with quality writing. Its good and enjoyable. Some people may think that you shouldn't put religion in anything because people can be sensitive about it, and it's true. But the story of the snakes poison could be true to people if they believe. do or don't believe it was a great story, though the grammar wasn't the best

how the story is written wasn't great. The grammar was just weird. The story would have been better to understand and just plane better. This is dis, that is dat, the issues where still easy to understand but why bother putting them in?


The strange grammar maid The book fun to read, or funnier at least. The book was well written and very easy to picture. There was a lot of talking instead of too much description where you can easily get lost. Sometimes books describe things that don't half to do with anything, this book was always to the story.

Favorite childhood memories

My favorite childhood memory was the time I got to go in a UH-60 helicopter. Cense 4th grade I've been entrusted in aircraft. My favorite helicopter was the SH-60 and the two helicopters are very alike and I'd do a lot just to see one flying. This was a very big deal to me because the helicopter looks sharp and I truly want to fly one with all me heart. To bad for me I'm scared of heights and I always thought that the propellers would fall off and hit me.

When I approached it I was very exited. I got to sit in the back seat where the solders sit, and it was very roomy. My mother took a picture of me in it. Then I went to the pilot seat, and my brother in the copilot. There was so many buttons that I doubt that anyone could remember what they all do. I loved buckling and unbuckling, there would be two straps with a circle connection them, and then there would be two more at the bottom and you would clip them in, then you would turn a tab and one strap would fall, turn it the other way and then your free. Seeing the helicopter was really fun and I would do it again any day.

My best Birthday

My best Birthday was when i turned 13. the birthday was great because i got to eat a fantastic dinner and i got the best present in the world, i got what i wanted witch was a gun. i wanted my own gun because my brother got his first at 12 and it would only be fair for me to get it at 13. i also got 2 cool t-shirts and a new x-box head set. My parents mad it pretty obvious that i got what i wanted, my mom wouldn't let me open a big present witch i though was a gun case with the gun in it and my dad wanted to see me open it. i was getting so ankshes to open it, i called my dad over and over and he told me he had to work late. when he came home he had a box and said "Happy birthday kid!" he was waiting for the box and the big present was just the gun case for it, luckily if fits though.

Shooting gunz

shooting guns has to be my favorite sport. i love the thrill of hitting the bull's eye. shooting is a very fun sport because these so much options, thees the bullet, the gun, and the type of gun, etc. I don't love shooting just because its fun but also its really the only time i connect with my dad. the fist gun i shot was the M4, it was a fun gun and it shot very accurate. i got my own gun on my 13nth birthday and I'm saving up to buy a red dot sight. i never fired it but i hope to this weekend.

A day wasted

The ache the pain so harsh that it causes a young boy to miss a perfect day of learning at school, a story called Stolen Day by Sherwood Anderson is about a kid who skips school because of his aches. So he goes home and tells his mother but she don't care. Since his mother don't care he goes fishing. Very pointless and kind of boring.

The book is a little boring because of the fact nothing really happens. The one thing that happens is when the boy catches a fish, otherwise its just him talking about what he should do.They boy's mother was busy that day so and till he realized that he should get attention because he was sick, so he thought he would go fishing, his hart would stop and drown and his mom would still not care. No one should think that way. When he gets a bite it uses words like, thrashing, wrestling to make the thing seem more exiting. Then its over and nothing happens again.

In a book if nothing really happens its just pointless. Purpose of books are for an education or entertainment. If nothing happens its not entertaining and if its doesn't teach then its pointless. Can a kid be excused from school because an ache anyway? And if it does happen and you go home why would you go fishing? The character didn't fake the pain to go home, and if you go home its because you can't take it, so why go fishing.

If someone goes home because there sick no matter how busy a mother is I'm sure they would make sure of that they stay in bed or on the couch resting, unless if they refuse to be a mom. This book really didn't explain anyone except for one character who is none for not showing up and goes fishing, but otherwise know one is really explained, what they look like, how they are, age Etc. the book ended a little weird and to fast, the kid caught a fish and his parents asked why he came home and he ran crying. He has and ache and what's so shameful, its not his fault.

The point to this book is a little hard to find and nothing really happened, so why read it? if the book isn't entertaining then your wasting time. only one thing exiting really happens and it doesn't last, its over and then that's about it.

Thunder over kandahar by Sharon McKay

The book Thunder over Kandahar is a very good book, the book is about a family from the UK moves to Afghanistan and suffers all the laws, women in Afghanistan cant show any skin, cant look at other men, and must travel with a man at all times. The book is very great and exiting.

I like the book a lot because it has a lot of my interest. Am very interested in warfare, and in this book they have the Taliban. This book actually tells people what its like in Afghanistan. I really like books that have a realistic story and a good problem, for example the mother (who's name is not listed yet) and the daughter Yasmen where walking to the park for ice cream and there was no guy with them, so a grope in a truck went to beet them. I have a lot to reed but I can tell it will get better and better.

On the back it says that the Taliban targets they family because they got an education for Europe. This book seems unpredictable and I would love to see how this turns out. At the point I'm in, the family goes to an even more dangers city and they believe they will be protected because there Grandpa is a well respected man, the city also has a school under construction, witch everyone hopes to go to. In Afghanistan or maybe every place in Africa a school is a huge deal, every one wants to learn so they get a good job for the future. I believe that this book will be the best book I will ever read in a long time, its so realistic and well written.


I would recommend this book to a lot of people. It has a very good storyline and its very easy to picture what's going on. It's interesting and you never know what might happen. Afghanistan is very unpredictable and corrupted and this book really tells that without saying it, that’s what makes it very realistic. The book is very great and I enjoy reading it.

Death watch by Robb White

What would you do if you where chased by a madman with a gun? The book death watch is about this but was a good book at start but as it goes on it just gets boring. A young man named Ben who goes hunting with Madec is betrayed and forced to walk when he is 40 miles away from civilization. Till that point its pretty good, now it just talks about stuff that doesn't half to do with anything and goes on and on about it. I really thought it would be a good book, with a life threatening chase, well not at all and its bores my mind.

the back makes it sound good, like he's running away from a man with a deadly gun, but turns out Ben is just walking and Madec just watching, nothing exiting. Eventually Ben just goes to some area and it talks about nothing, at least three pages wasted talking about something that doesn't half to do with anything. It talks about wood peckers witch has nothing to do with anything about the main Idea. It's very boring at this point.

At this point I don't even want to know how the book ends. How I think it'll end is that he makes it back home and the crazy man goes to jail. Its just so predictable, the only other thing is that he kills the main character, and how often does the main character die?

This book is good till the point listed. Why did the author decide to write 3 or more pages about nothing, who knows? Its ridicules how he failed to stick to the point of this book.

A wird walk in the forrest

i went for a walk and saw a deer. supposedly i had my bunting gear on me boom boom the deer was shot in the head, blood everywhere. i went in to look at the deer that was shoot in the head. but when i got close i jumped out at me and it wasn't dead. it became a crazy zombie deer! i started kicking and i ran. then it caught up to me and i got bite. then out of nowhere it stabbed me. i thought it was weird because last time i checked deer couldn't stab. but they can kick. then magically teleported really far away. t was a dark place. i looked around but saw nothing. then something attached me, them my after life life toke roll.

favorite computer game.

my favorite computer game is black navy war. I like how its set up and how much strategy you need to win. In the game you have a base and save up for units, the units attack other units and the objective is to destroy the other base. its quite simple but as the rounds go by it gets much harder.

my favorie game

sense i don't watch TV at all, i play games, or go out side but mostly games. my favorite game is currently halo reach, i like it so much because it gives you so much options to do. my favorite part is building things, me and my cousin built an aircraft carrier, and its pretty detailed. i also like to make up mini games, me and my friend play a game call "fesent hunting" witch is were one person gets a tank and tries to shoot a helicopter down. The game is very fun but has no real things, its a space war witch i really don't care for, but i just ignore it. its the perfect game besides that.

Do braces hurt?

YES!!! Braces hurt, braces hurt so bad that its torch er to eat. the sheering pain drives you nuts. Lucky i made it for 5 days without ripping them out, after five days you can eat and your problems will be over. to eat an orange i had to crush it in half with my bottom teat, and squish it just so i taste it. I'm so glade that the pain is over, and i can't wait to get them off.

Deep Water By William O. Douglas

The story deep water is about how a simple fear can change you in a big way. The book seemed to be very inspiring. a boy who was dared to go under deep water almost dies and was scared for almost the rest of his life. Till he had hired a swimming instructor, who perfected each little detail of swimming day by day.

Someone who can over come his fear is always a bit inspiring. but overcoming a fear of death caused by water is just daring. many people have died of drowning and when near death you don't want to do what caused it. Once in your life you half to overcome a fear, and that's what the main character did in this story. the fear of the event was driving him crazy, and it was time to do something

After his event he avoids water for a very long time. As life goes on he starts to get sick of hiding from it. the salutation to his problem is an instructor. When the instructor teaches him, he teaches one simple thing, like waving you feet for weeks. At last he was perfected.

Although perfection or not he is afraid of chocking and drowning again. and there was only one way of finding out, putting his ability's to the test. The trial he decided was swimming to an island in a lake, and as he goes he realizes hes not afraid, and becomes a grate swimmer. if he could do that maybe everyone who is afraid of water can, that's the inspiration, and a very good one too.

The pearl By Jhon Stinebeck

The Pearl was a very astonishing book. when the main character kino finds a large pearl his world starts to fall apart. when they find the pearl it was to pay a doctor for a baby's wound from a scorpion bite. The doctor who hates Kinos race refuses to treat to baby. as news speeds around he decides to treat the baby, he just wanted the pearl. when the doctor asks for the money, that's when the tragedy starts.

As Kino finds what the pearl is worth, greet takes over him. Kino asks for more and more. As news keeps speeding people attack Kino because of the pearl, the hole family is in trouble, kinos only chose was to kill him, and he did. Kino, the peaceful man, kills another man.

The family runs to sell the pearl, and people are fallowing them. as they are forced to go into a cave. as the men stay to rest, kino must kill them befor they kill him. the as the wife Jana and the baby are hiding in a cave the baby cries. When the people hear that, they shoot, and the baby dies.

After the event, kino takes one final look and sees his baby dead, and throws it in the sea. all the people killed, the baby dead, the house gone, for nothing. he got nothing that he wanted. A very tragic ending as a simple mans life turns into a nightmare.

Final reflection: the pearl by John stienbeck

The pearl to me was a great book. it had a lot of mysteries like who attacked Kino when he was sleeping. Books like this make some people want to read more. when the doctor treated the baby did he make it sick on purpose to get more money, that's one of the many other mysteries about the doctor. the doctor in this book is very greedy and only wanted money for his treatments, he would have never treated the baby if they never found the pearl because he hates that race, that part was a real grabber to readers.

Jana most likely believes that the pearl will destroy them because it is bringing too much greet, and too much greet could cause insanity. Kino is starting to ask for too much from and does even turn insane.

Juana may believe this because Kino is getting very protective and is starting not to trust people. ever since they found the pearl the doctor realized that he wants to help the baby and a priest has even shone up witch never happens. Kino is also suspecting too much.
