Aerospace

A year back I was a cadet in the Civil Air Patrol (cap) cadet program. The program had many benefits, it could get you into collage, could even start you 3 ranks up in the army navy or air force. But I quit because of all the immaturity. But I had good times, like the time I helped at the Milwaukee air water show, it was fun helping, and the air sow was AWESOME!!!!!

the lotery

The symbolism in the lottery is very intense, first the book is about a lottery were the winner gets killed, but before the killing is reviled the author does a lot of foreshadowing. Long before readers understood what the lottery really was, it mentioned that the kids were gathering rocks. At first is sounds like playing, but later the winner gets stoned. When the lottery was coming close to an end lots of people in the story would say "I hope its not…" witch hinted that it wasn't a lottery that people have today. And last, the black dot on the piece of paper, the black dot could be just a dot, but that was the symbol of the winner, or the one who would die.

themes

Themes are a book because most of the text refers to the them. If the theme is romance than the book is going to be about romance. There are tones of themes to pick from, love, they can be in a certain timeline, or they can be leaving a place for hope, just like in the book "the absolute true diary of a part time Indian."

In the book, the main character junior attends an all native American school and gets picked on for his problems that he was born with. Everything changes when his teacher tells him that there is no hope at the reservation that he lives on and if he wants a bright future he needs to leave.

Junior does leave and starts to attend an all white school, but the problems don't stop. Junior starts to lose all his friends and has a hard time making new friends. But he still looks forward to the future he dreams of. By going to this school he has a better chance of getting to collage and getting a successful carrier.

The hope junior is looking for is also the same hope his sister was looking for, only things didn't work out for her. juniors sister went to a casino and met a man she married, and then left the reservation very quickly. after she got settled in, she had a party witch lead to a house fire, killing her and her husband.
In the end, his hope of finding a carrier turns up. His report card comes with great grades. His old best friend becomes his friend again and they hang out like they use too. When he tried out for basket ball he had a great time and performed well.

Music reflections

the music reflects on the mood because of the way its played, for example if its slow melody with a piano its going to put a sad mood or if its high passed its going to feel more happy. in the songs field below and big yellow taxi the music reflected on the tone. there were many versions of big yellow taxi, one maid it sound happy the other maid it sound said. in field below it maid it sound said.

Cause and effect

Different events shape different futures. Main events are important to a book because the shape what's going to happen next. For example if a if a fight happens a war starts, with more fights and hatred. The opposite of that happens in the book "the absolutely true diary of a part-time Indian" by Sherman Alexie.

The book is about a Native American named Junior boy who transfers schools. At first he gets picked on by a high school jock named Roger. Roger tells Junior the most raciest thing Junior has herd so Junior punches him in the face. Junior tells Roger that there going to finish the fight. But nothing happens. At this point Junior is very confused and he goes to his very wise grandma. She tells him that maybe Roger respects you. And he did. Roger maid it on Juniors list of most important list of people they become good friends and become basket ball players together. Without that event Junior probably wouldn't have had the cortege to try out for varsity, he would defanitly still be picked on, and he would have a girl friend.

Themes

Theme is always an important part of a book. The whole book revolves around the them. Themes can be love, friendship, or leaving a place to find hope just like in the book "The absolutely true diary of a part-time Indian by Sherman Alexie.

On page 43, the main the main character Junior, and he teacher talk after school about an incident that happened in class. Instead of yelling, he gives him advice, he tells him that you are going to find more and more hope the farther and farther you walk away from this sad, sad, sad reservation. And Junior takes his advice by transferring schools. After he transferring a different theme opens up, betrayal.

When he leaves, his home town hates him and his new school picks on him for his race. Having his home town think that Junior betrayed them shapes a lot of his book, like a lot of it is getting over his lost best friend.

If Junior was this room

If I where to see the main character Junior from the book "the absolutely true diary of a part-time Indian" he would look as poor as the dirt. Because he is poor, he's going to look poor. If Junior walked by he would smell worse than cheep wine. Junior's dad was a alcoholic, his mom was an alcoholic, and his dad is going to drown in alcohol.

Junior is a nice guy so if I got to know him he would be kind, probably the nicest kid in the school. He isn't a bad kid unless you disrespect him. For example on page 65 a high school jock tells him the most racist thing junior heard, so he punched him in the face. But instead of starting a war, friendship starts.

the spirit bear dance

In the forest of night
A bear stalks for a feast
the beast bites to kill

Touching spirit bear point of view

The book "touching spirit bear" is about a boy named coal Mathews where his anger issues get him in series trouble. Coal lets his anger take control of him and does bad things. Coal gets in trouble with the cops from time to time, but when someone snitches, they get stitches. A boy named peter rats him out and when coal gets his hands on him things get bad. Coal beats him senseless and Peter is left with brain injuries, coordination problems and speech problems from the beating. Coal is left with prison, or circle of justice. Coal picks the circle of justice, witch leads him to a island banishment. During a near death of experience coal changes, he decides he wants to live and changes. After his near death experience, the only thing that drives him through life is the desire to help peter.
after the beating, Peter has a lot of problems besides coordination and speech. Peter gets depress witch anyone would if they where in peters shoes, peters life was ruined, what kind of future could he have with coordination and speech problems. Every dream he had about his future is crushed. Peters emotions where more than likely mixed between anger and sad, and he even tries to committee suicide twice.
After the beating coal thought, what ever the kid asked for it. Coal is the kind of guy who thinks everything isn't his fault. When he beat up peter he thought it was peter's fault for telling the cops. But coal has a reason to be angry, his parents are the reason. Both his parents are alcoholics, where one beats him almost all the time, and the other doesn't care one bit. When coal joins the circle he tries to manipulate everyone, he thinks that the world is full of suckers and he knows just how to take advantage. His plane to manipulate fails and gets sent to a one year banishment on a island all by himself.
Coal's trip to the island doesn't go well, with no one to take his anger out, no one to take control of he doesn't know what to do, he burns his shelter, tries to escape, and tries to kill a bear. The bear mulled him and left him dyeing on the ground. Coal changes his emotions and feels sorry for what he did, and feels so sorry that when he gets back to the island for a second time, he thinks that peter should live there too.
When peter first arrived, he was scared badly. Memories of the pain and blood on the ground rushing through his brain. After trying to committee suicide his parents get desperate and try the idea.
When his parents leave he still didn't want anything to do with coal. Coal was forced by his adviser to live outside the cabin. When months pass, peter learns that coals idea wasn't to get revenge, but knowing that doesn't change peters opinion on coal.

"Touching Spirit Bear" conflicts

In the book "touching spirit bear" there are many conflicts but the one that leads up to all other conflicts is the main characters parents. Coal the main character has parents that don't care about him and are abusive. How a child is raised really reflects on there stereo type, for example if your razed with parents who don't care about you, your more than likely not going to care either, or if your disciplined your probably going to be respectful. With Coals bad parents it makes him a bad kid, Coal has robbed places and beat up people and could have gone to jail. After robbing a place he bragged about it and a kid named Peter Driscal rats him out. Coal manipulates the cops into believing him he didn't, and as soon as coal gets his hands on Peter things get ugly. After that coal has two options, change way his life, or jail. Coal picks the circle of justice witch is suppose to help him change and leads him to a 1 year banishment where he eventually gets mulled by a bear. almost near death coal does change.

David froze, checking his pockets. Where was the money? Did he leave it at the bank. Time was running out, if he didn't find that money him and dozens more would die. He looked every where once he stepped out of the line. It wasn't there. David dialed his phone nervously.

"You got the stuff?"

"No….. I lost the money." said David

"You got 3 hours to get"

"How am I suppose to get it?"

"Improvise."

How? David had no idea what that meant. But this wasn't a option, it was life or death. In the store, he grabbed a lighter and colored it red.

"All right nobody move! I got a bomb strapped to me!"

Only it was true, David was held captive and forced to get drugs for an unknown man. And time was running out. Shrieks echoed the pharmacy. People rushed to leave and others stayed figuring David would blow the thing if they left.

"All right, give me all your drugs and ill be on my way."

The clerk pulled up a gun. David razed his painted lighter attempting to intimidate her. "look, I don't want any trouble, I'm not the one with the bomb."

Bang… Bang. David fell to the ground with blood all over him. Now he was a dead man. Police where sure to come, and with two bullets stuck in his stomach he couldn't get up. Time seemed to be frozen. With two hours left he and the condition he was in there was know way to get the drugs.

About 2 minutes later the police showed up. David could hear them talking. He heard the clerk say "he clams he wasn't the one with the bomb"

"Wake up son, we will take care of you but you tell me who is behind this."

"Dial…… 76….2…..5139" said david

"Hey get the EOD." said the cop. The cop dialed he number.

"I swear if you don't have the stuff I'm going to blow this thing!"

"He doesn’t, and the police are after you." the cop hung up. "Trace the call." seconds later they got a fix on his position. Germany. This didn't make since. Nothing blew up. David was unconchuse but alive and the EOD hadn't arrived yet, was there something wrong or was this a joke. The cop looked up in the sky. There was a 3 large aircraft spread very far apart. And they where descending. Then about 100 miles a way the brightest flash appeared. America was under attack

dead mans path

authors note This is a point of view based on the story dead man's path.

In the story "Dead Man's Path", a young adult becomes the head master of a school. The man closes down a path that is believed to be spiritual to the community. It angers the villagers and gets them upset. From the head master's point of view, Mr. Obi, thought that the stuff they believed was bogies. But villagers saw it in a completely differently way . They tore down the fence and vandalized the school.

trolling

There are many definitions to the word trolling, but specifically its bothering people over electronics, not cyber bulling, bothering. I don't troll often and maybe only done it this once, and it is one heck of a good time, I never laughed like this in a very, very long time. But what I did was annoy people over Xbox live on the game battlefield 3.
phase one of trolling was to spam KISS's music over game chat, and people really got pretty mad. I knew this would bother people because in today's community people only listen to rap and pop. As I kept playing it people where getting mad and screaming "Turn it off its not helping!"
Phase two of trolling was spam people with flashlights. In the game, you start out with a gun, and the more kills you get with the gun you get accessories. There is an accessory that is a flash light. When you shine it in the enemy's or team's face it blinds them, enough to give them a head ache. So I flashed it in my teams face and they where sprinting away from me and into the line of fire and die.
Phase three of trolling was park a tank on the runway. In the game type Conquest and on the map Caspian border, the Russian army starts of with 3 tanks, 2 jeeps, 2 jets, and 1 helicopter. I grabbed a tank and parked it on the runway. When the friendly jets get shot down, over a period of time they will re spawn on the runway so they can be used agian. Since my tank was there, the jets would try to take off, they jets would push my tank and then the plane's wing would get caught and throw them off coerce into a building or into a hill. This was the best time I have ever had since I first played the game, the game is fantastic but this toped it, it was so hilarious the way my team reacted.
Phase fore, get a helicopter filled with team mates, and crash it. In the map Noshier Canals, the US starts off on a aircraft carriers with two scout helicopters. I rushed to get the helicopter, I would wait for all the players to fill all the spots, and I looked at the names and my brother was there, this I got hyped up about because I joined his game without telling him, so I took the helicopter outside of the map and crashed it, so my team had a 10 second time to get in the map, but I drove them two far out of it that they couldn't. that was priceless because my brother died two.
That was the end of my trolling and despite the good time It might even be the last. I play the game to pwn nobes, get epic kill streaks, and dominate the skies. But truly I haven't laughed that hard until my experience with trolling. I enjoy laughing but I don't find things funny so it's hard to expieriance it.

april morning to black hawk down

U.S. battle tactics have changed throughout history. From the revolutionary war to the deserts of Afghanistan. From marksmanship training to physical training. Soldiers have been advancing in every single way. By reading the two books, "April morning," and "black hawk down," its easy to pick out the similarities.
both books take place during war. One in the revolutionary war, one in Somalia. April morning takes place in the Lexington concord, wile black hawk down takes place in the gulf war. The operation "restore hope" was to feed and protect a city's rights. When the U.S. pulled out war broke loose, so the army was sent in to capture the evil person. The Lexington concord was a bunch of men without training fighting for their rights.
A character named Adam joins the militia to fight off the upcoming British forces. In black hawk down a delta squad is in a operation and immediately after touchdown the squad is under fire. The Lexington Concorde started with a shot from the British to the Americans. In both books the characters find themselves under fire and running away. When under pressure, the human is pushed to the lowest point of his/her training. In both books, the characters have to overcome this and defeat the enemy to save their lives.
the books are very different because of the timeline. In the revolutionary war the military was a militia, a none properly trained army. In black hawk down they had tactics, support, and much more. Warfare has changed because technology has been advancing rapidly. From muzzle loaders to automatics, cannons to missiles technology has been getting smarter every year.
Booth books are great battle stories and set a picture perfect image of what it was like at that timeline. If you like history on the April morning would be a great book, if you more like modern stories black hawk down might be the best option out there. Both are great stories and similar because they take place in historical battles.

Another year without a home was about to pass. Sara hadn’t had a home since 3 years, her forth year mark would start 3 weeks from thanksgiving which was today. Thankfully Sara had a million dolor diamond which was her only chance of being able to live again, she has been searching for a market and no one could afford the diamond. She tried pawn shops, jurally stores almost anywhere, but no one had the money. She has heard of popular diamond stores but those where far up north. After 3 years she still hadn’t found a ride up there, she had asked family but they didn’t have much money ether.
Thanksgiving was at her mother’s house like normal. When she arrived she looked like a wreck. “Can I barrow your car?” Sara asked her mother.
“What for? Its thanksgiving, sit down, relax and eat some turkey.” Her mother said
“Mom you know I don’t like turkey. But I need money and I understand that you can’t give me some. But I have I diamond that’s worth a lot of money and.”
“How much?” her mother interrupted
“One million dollars.” Her mother was shocked that she possessed such a thing. “But as I was saying I was searching for 2 years since I found it and I need to sell it, but no one can afford it, but I know a place and it’s really far away.” Sara said
“When did you find it?” Sara’s mother asked.
“That’s not important. What’s important is the money it’s worth, I need it, I want to live in a home again. So can a barrow it or not?”
“You know what, I’ll come with. Well have a road trip!” her mother said.
It was a long drive to the store, they passed many interesting things. When they got to the pawn shop they got more than they asked for. Sara had bought a home for herself, shared with her family and donated. Sara had gotten a successful job and married.

drama

At the end of the day Sheila was walking out of school and saw Bradley and Alex kissing. Completely thrilled, Sheila pulled out her phone to share the news. This was huge because Alex was already Dating Ryan. It wasn't long before it went on Face book. When Sheila logged on to her blog it was all over the wall. She noticed that brad gave her hate mail. It was then when she realized she really messed up their lives, all 3 of them. Next day at school none 1 of the 3 people was there and that was Ryan. He told me thanks Sheila thanks because he didn't want to date anyone if there where cheating on them. That was all anyone wanted to talk about it. Sheila felt some justice, but mostly guilt. It was that day she really felt drama sucked.

Johnny

Johnny lost his innocence when he killed bob. When he killed bob he couldn't be the same as he always was. He had to run away or else he too would be killed. Johnny use to be the kind of guy who would be loyal to his friends, but when a rival group almost kills the main character pony boy by drowning him, Johnny killed him in self defense.

Johnny had a hard life at home, so he would always be around his gang. Johnny really had no rules because his parents just didn't care. Even though Johnny's parents didn't care that hurt Johnny, It made him soft witch wasn't good because his group of "greasers" couldn't be soft, the two groups beat each other constantly.

The night pony boy was about to die and Johnny killed bob to save him they both panicked. Johnny and pony boy took a train further towards the west to hide from the police. They found an abundant church and decided to stay there. Both cut their hair and bleached it. While they where getting settled a group member named Dally showed up and took them to dairy queen, but when they got back the place was on fire. While the place was burning they noticed there was a school there, the school there was on a picnic, but a few kids where in burning buildings. Like heroes, Johnny and pony boy went in to get them out, as Johnny was on his way out, part of the building collapsed breaking Johnny's back. This caused johnnys death, but after he thought about it he didn't mind going.

Johnny learned that saving those kids life was worth more than his life because they had more to live for. Before he died, his last words where "stay gold pony boy."

The outsiders

the outsiders title to me means outcast. being an outsider is like being an outcast. in the book there are greasers and socs, gresers are the ones who are only have eachother and socs have the school. outcasts are just like greasers.
